HOOKSETT – JPI Pyrotechnics, owned by Hooksett residents Rob and Sandy Jacobs, will lead the fireworks display for the 2024 Old Home Day at Donati Field on Saturday, Sept. 21. Known for larger-scale shows, JPI couldn’t resist the opportunity to perform in their hometown after being contacted by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Donati Field is an ideal venue for pyrotechnics, offering flat terrain and slightly elevated spectator seating that ensures a perfect view.
JPI has decided to enhance the event by donating an additional $26,000, despite the town’s smaller budget, and committing to a three-year partnership.
This year’s display will be a special Halloween-themed “pyromusical,” where fireworks are synchronized to music, creating a full sensory experience.
The setup will transform Donati Field into a concert-like venue, with powerful PA systems and larger shells than Hooksett has ever seen. JPI’s goal is to make Old Home Days the best-attended event yet and attract larger sponsors for future years.
Arrive early, park off-site, and bring your lawn chairs. A program detailing the show will be available on social media about ten days before the event.
