Hooksett lacrosse wraps up

HOOKSETT – Hooksett Youth Lacrosse completed another fall season of Skills and Drills training. They use this time for specific training with coaches and to allow a smaller coach-to-player ratio. This fall, 15 boys, 30 girls and 10 coaches participated in the fall program.

Hooksett Youth Lacrosse is a member of the New Hampshire Youth Lacrosse Association and the Hooksett Youth Athletic Association and is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Games are played on Sundays starting in early April and finish by the middle of June.  Practices will begin prior to the start of the season in the NH SportsDome in Hooksett and outdoors at Petersbrook Fields.  No previous lacrosse experience is needed as the coaches will teach participants everything they need to know.  Their coaches have played at the high school and college level and are all certified by USA Lacrosse.

Many of these players go on and play lacrosse at the high school level and they currently have former players playing at Division 1, 2 and 3 level in college.

They are always looking for new players and coaches to try the sport of lacrosse.  If you are interested in trying lacrosse, see www.hooksett youthlacrosse.com for more information.  Any questions can be sent to hooksettlax@gmail.com.
