The Hooksett Bridge is looking for your support

Posted

Welcome to The Hooksett Bridge, your trusted source for local news, stories, and events in the Tri-Town area. Our mission is to keep our community informed, connected, and engaged by delivering high-quality journalism that matters to you.

In this issue, we’re proud to feature reports on the impacts of school budget cuts in Hooksett and Pembroke, covered by our talented correspondent, Sarah Lebrun Amsler, a former Neighborhood News editor. This kind of essential reporting is only possible with the support of our community – through your advertising dollars and financial contributions.

Our vision is to continue expanding our coverage by hiring skilled local correspondents to report on the issues that directly affect our lives. But we need your help. Without your support, we won’t be able to sustain the quality of journalism that The Hooksett Bridge is known for.

In addition to community support, we’re seeking partnerships with local schools like SNHU, Pinkerton Academy, Cawley Middle School, and Pembroke Academy. We’re eager to collaborate with students and educators to provide real-world experience in journalism, content creation, and more.

If you have connections to writing departments or internship coordinators, please reach out – we’d love to work together.

We’re also expanding our team and are currently hiring for a part-time ad sales position. If you have a passion for sales and want to help our paper thrive, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Additionally, we are in need of a social media manager to help us grow our online presence and engage with our readers in new and exciting ways.

We’re also looking for a human interest reporter to find and report on people in the Tri-Town area. Stories like our current front-page feature on Hooksett’s “Sign Guy,” Ron Goodrich, showcase the unique individuals in our community, and we need someone dedicated to uncovering and telling these stories.

A business section reporter would also be an invaluable addition to our team. If you enjoy interviewing local business owners and have strong writing skills, this could be the perfect role for you.

Finally, we are seeking someone talented and engaged in the area to take on the Hometown Hero section of the paper for each issue. This is a fun and rewarding section to write, where you’ll highlight local heroes who make a difference in our community. You must be engaging, good with people, a talented writer, and willing to put yourself out there in the community. Interviews and resumes are required prior to assignments.

Your involvement – whether through advertising, financial support, or contributing your time and talents – makes a significant difference. Together, we can ensure that The Hooksett Bridge continues to be a valuable resource for our community.

If you feel called to help in any capacity, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here because of you, and with your support, we’ll continue to serve the Tri-Town area with the news and information you rely on.

Thank you for being a part of The Hooksett Bridge community. We appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Tony LaCasse
